Well, I think this email is gonna be kinda lame. Sorry! But don't say
I didn't warn you so...
Basically, I'm a third wheel now with the other hermanas I've been
living with for the passed couple months. Hna. Melchor had to leave
Naples on Saturday :/ She just needed a special kind of love that I
couldn't give her. Of course people say it's not my fault, and to not
blame myself. But that doesn't actually help too much. So I'm in a
trio with these hermanas that have been together for 8 months. That's
not awkward at all (not!). But actually, they're really good, and I
was already pretty tight with them. One of them goes home next week,
and the other the next transfer, so they're kinda crazy right now. But
they're also hard workers! We're suppose to be trying to cover both
our areas, but I'm not too sure how well that will work... But that's
okay, Alberto's out of town, Shantrell we had to drop, and our other
date set, Michael, might need a bit of a break... And Evelin and
Peterson are gonna be "babysat" by the Haitian elders for the week.
Maybe even permanently adopted if it goes well!
Hna. Finlayson is gonna be saying goodbye to people, and we'll
probably be fed for every meal except breakfast this week. But! These
hermanas do T25 every morning. It's a new fitness program from the guy
who did Insanity, has anyone heard of it? Today was my first try at
it, and I'm already sore. So I'm not too worried about gaining weight
from eating at the members this week. It also means going to back to
language study, and not training. It's only been a month, but
yesterday I was totally lost as to what to study for language study!
It was ridiculous.
Anyway, that's mostly it! The work is good! If it was easy it wouldn't
be worth it. I know what I learn out here is for my eternity. I'm just
praying I learn everything from every trial so I don't have to keep
going through them!
The Book of Mormon is true. If you've ever felt like there was
something missing in your life, it's the Book of Mormon. Start reading
it now, or study it better. It answers the questions of the soul
without fail!
I love you all! Be good, be missionaries, be happy :)
Con amor,
Hermana Despain
