Week 50 in Florida (Naples 4.4)

We had a good week! Can I just tell ya, being a missionary is literally the best thing anyone can do with their life. That's all!
We had very full days this week, which is the best! It was Hna. Lewis's last week, she's going home to get ready for school and help her family a little. It was so weird to be with her for that! But it was cool, she didn't freak out too much :)
We had a zone conference that seriously took all day on Wednesday! We left the apartment at 7:30 and didn't get back into town until 8:20. We had a speedy lesson with Alberto, and then back to the apartment. It was a good, laid back conference. It was nice :) President reminded us that just because we have iPads doesn't mean we're good to relax on obedience, we still need to be exactly obedient! I've for sure noticed myself getting relaxed, so I'll be stepping it back up! Sister Cusick told a story about a fence sitter. Satan and Jesus come and try to convince him which side to step down on. He doesn't know which one to choose! Jesus gives his message and leaves to let him choose, but satan stays. The man says, I think I'm just gonna sit here a bit longer before I decide. Satan says, "that's fine, take you time. I own the fence." Whoa, what!?! Mind blown! It's so true though! When we're riding the fence, we aren't progressing, and that's what Satan wants! Of course, we need to take a minute to choose wisely, and not choose the wrong, but then get off ASAP! That was really cool to realize!
Thursday came, and everything went perfect for Alberto's baptism! When he got out of the water we asks him how he felt. He said "perfect! Wet, but perfect!" Haha, it was amazing. Seriously. That was the best baptism for me. I've literally seen him from the beginning. It is amazing the see the changes he's made, and changes that are still happening! I just love him!
The only scary part was Sunday! He needed to come to get confirmed, but he was sick! Bishop said he could still get confirmed if he got to church before the end of sacrament meeting. I sent him a quick text, and then prayed and waited. And he made it! And then went right back home to bed! I'm so glad he had the strength to get to the church. He knew how important it was, and after he felt great! Still sick, but great!
Coolest little miracle of the week, we didn't have any set plans, and we were taking a bit of a break at the church. Before we left to try some people, a less active called us. We hadn't been able to contact him in almost 2 weeks!!! So he came to the church (I don't think he's been in the church for months) and we had a good lesson with him. It was amazing! I'm so glad he called us!
Well, Sunday after sacrament meeting, Hna. Lewis left! I stayed with the members until church was over and hen joined the English sisters for their church. It was a weird feeling for a couple hours to not have a set companion. But we're good now! They don't have too much work going on right now, so they'll be tagging along with me for a bit! Except the elders took the car I had, so I'll just be backseat driving for a bit. No big deal! It's all part of the adventure!
I love you all! Have a good week! Go out and share the gospel!
